Description
The Nankarrow Kiev is a series of wideband acoustic diffusers custom-built on variable quadratic residue sequences. It scatters mid and high frequencies to improve spatial imaging, reduce flutter echo, and enhance clarity in critical listening environments. The panel is modular and fits standard studio layouts.
Features:
• N23 QRD design for uniform diffusion
• Reduces comb filtering and specular reflections
• Stable phase response for improved stereo imaging
• Rigid wood composite construction
• Works on walls or ceilings
• Modular 500 mm panels for scalable coverage
Technical Specifications:
• Diffusion topology: N19 / N23 / N27 quadratic residue sequence
• Mathematical basis: d(n) = (n² mod X)
• Number of wells: 19/23/27 depth values per sequence
• Frequency focus: Mid to high frequency scattering (installation dependent)
• Depth profile: Optimized irregularity to minimize lobing
• Finish options: Natural or painted
• Mounting: Rear bracket compatible
Dimensions:
• 500 mm x 500 mm x 100 mm
Applications:
• Recording and mixing studios
• Control rooms
• Home cinema
• Audiophile listening rooms
• Rehearsal and performance spaces
